Learning Through Play Activities at Country Day focus on giving children opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. A typical day at Country Day may include sharing, music, letter concepts and phonics, crafts, fine and gross motor skills, lunch on site, outside play, cooperation skills, and just plain fun. Field Trips Monthly field trips allow children to learn and grow through hands-on experiences throughout the community. Some examples are the Regional Fitness Center, the children’s garden, and the library. All Day Pre-Kindergarten To better meet the needs of the families in Stevens County, Country Day has instituted an all-day option for 4-and 5-year-olds.
